Calculation example: A company stores metal rolls of 500 kg each. The storage rate is €0.10 per kilogram per month. With 20 rolls: 20 × 500 kg × €0.10 = €1,000 per month.
2. Warehouse rental per square meter (m²)
With warehouse rental based on m², you pay for the floor area you use, regardless of the height or weight of the stored goods. Popular with e-commerce, retail, and distributors who want to link space rental to fixed square meters.
