Project files for Project Cargo

Adaption has added project order functionalities to the Logistics Cloud Suite to serve the needs of forwarders active in the project cargo market. It allows for multiple orders added to one project file, so you keep a complete overview of all running orders within a project. From the project file, you can manage all processes. It also allows you to connect, save and exchange documents from one central environment. The system lets you view all relevant data in dashboards, giving you real-time insight into running orders. As a forwarder, you can gain profit by closely monitoring the processes. By closely monitoring them, you make sure they always run as efficiently as possible. The practical, real-time dashboards make it easy to take action promptly and adjust accordingly.

Project cargo invoices

All project orders can link to their correlating project files. That also means that all project invoices can be collected in one file, giving you a complete overview of costs and benefits. In addition, all invoices within one project file can be assembled onto one final invoice for the client. Invoices and quotations can easily be requested, viewed and sent through the Portal.

Warehousing project cargo

Do you warehouse project cargo? As an expert, you know correct registration of storage is crucial. With the WMS by Adaption, you efficiently manage inbound, outbound and value-added processes. One push of a button lets you add special instructions and apply for cranes. In addition, the system supports the activities surrounding lashing, sealing, reboxing, packing and more.  

Through the Portal, you keep all relevant supply chain partners up to date on the progress. The WMS also calculates rented warehouse space. The Rate-Management tool in the WMS calculates the costs of your clients’ project cargo based on several variables, such as dimensions, weight, time unit and more. Next, you efficiently send the invoice to your clients through the Portal. Quick and easy. 

Containers

When dealing with project cargo, you automatically deal with containers. Containers for project cargo often differ from standard containers. Therefore, accurate registration and communication with your system are crucial. The TMS and FMS by Adaption offer several menu options, such as a trailer, flat rack, open top and more. All you have to do is, select the relevant option. Or let the system do this for you based on previous transports. Undoubtedly it will still happen that cargo protrudes in width, length or height. A protrusion is also easily registered within our system. Accurate registration and communication through the Portals help you control the entire process.
