TMS with Planboard and onboard computer integration
Previously, Nugteren Transport had limited visibility of where drivers were, their expected arrival times, or trip status, leading to uncertainty and delays.
The use of the Planboard within the TMS has put an end to this. Trip planning is now centralized, clear, and updated in real time. Thanks to integration with the onboard computer, every change or delay is immediately visible in the system. This makes it possible to respond quickly and proactively inform customers about delivery times or adjustments.
The result: fewer phone calls, smoother operations, and a much higher service level for customers.
WMS for Inbound, Outbound, and Value-Added Services
In addition to transport, Nugteren also offers warehousing. Previously, there was a lack of inventory visibility; now, every item is scanned upon arrival, registered, and linked to the correct file. The WMS ensures goods are automatically assigned to storage locations or processed through Value-Added Services (VAS) such as repacking, assembling, or packaging.
Nugteren also uses the Rental functionality within the WMS, which automatically calculates rental costs based on customer agreements, storage duration, and volume or weight. This process, previously manual, is now fully automated and error-free.
With the mobile scan app, employees can easily register and move goods on the shop floor without paperwork. The scan module can be used on both a handheld scanner and a phone, making the system not only more efficient but also future-proof.

Where financial administration used to be fragmented, it is now fully integrated into the Adaption platform. Each file is automatically linked to the correct costs and rates.
The Finance module ensures invoicing is fast, transparent, and fully automated. Customer agreements, rates, and completed actions are instantly converted into billable items. This not only saves time but also prevents errors and disputes afterward.
