Maersk chooses Adaption’s Logistics Cloud Suite
Maersk has entered into a partnership with Adaption to further support and standardize its warehouse and logistics processes. As a new client, Maersk has chosen Adaption’s Logistics Cloud Suite, with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) playing a central role. With this solution, Maersk aims to gain more control over inbound, outbound, storage, and value-added services within one central platform.
This step marks an important new phase in the further digitization of Maersk’s warehouse operations, while maintaining integration with existing core systems.
Who is Maersk?
Maersk is a globally operating logistics service provider and one of the largest players in supply chain management. The organization delivers end-to-end logistics solutions, ranging from sea and air freight to warehousing, distribution, and customs clearance.
Within its warehouse operations, Maersk handles various goods flows, including general goods, ADR and hazardous materials, excise goods, and customs goods. This diversity and complexity require a flexible, scalable, and internationally deployable system.
How does Adaption support Maersk?
Adaption supports Maersk with the Logistics Cloud Suite, where the WMS is configured as the central system for warehouse processes. The cloud-based solution supports storage, value-added services, transport registration, and reporting within one integrated environment.
The suite is designed for seamless collaboration with existing systems. Through CSV uploads and API integrations, order and master data can be automatically imported, ensuring efficient alignment of processes. Maersk leverages this functionality to centrally support and further optimize its warehouse and logistics operations.
Ready for implementation
With the choice of Adaption’s Logistics Cloud Suite and the deployment of the WMS, Maersk is ready for the implementation phase. The solution integrates with the existing IT architecture and supports the complexity of international warehouse operations. This provides Maersk with a solid foundation for a controlled rollout and further optimization of its logistics processes.
This collaboration is currently in the implementation and start-up phase. Once the solution has been in use for a longer period and concrete results are visible, a detailed customer reference will follow.
