Step 1

Start smart trip planning in the Tripplanboard

The process starts with the planner. In the clear and intuitive Tripplanboard, trips are created with just a few clicks by assigning one or more orders to a specific trip. Once the planning is complete, the planner gives the driver the go-ahead via the system. At that moment, the trip automatically appears in the assigned driver’s Driver App.

Step 2

Driver opens the Driver app on their smartphone

Once the trip is scheduled, the driver receives an automatic notification in the Driver App. The app is user-friendly and built for quick interaction:

The driver only sees their own trips, preventing confusion.
Only one active trip is shown at a time, the next one, keeping focus clear.
The app contains all essential information: date, time, delivery address, load details, and any planner comments.

This minimalist view ensures clarity, calm, and reduces distractions during work.

Step 3

Easily report arrival at the location

Upon arrival at the delivery location, the driver only needs to press one button: “Arrived.”

This action:

Instantly updates the Tripplanboard;
Automatically logs the arrival time for the corresponding order;

This allows planners to see which trips are delayed or which drivers may be ahead of schedule, crucial for adjusting routes or adding stops.

Step 4

Goods delivered? Mark the trip as ‘Ready’

After unloading, the driver marks in the app that they’re ready to proceed. This is done via the “Set to Ready” button. This action:

Registers the trip’s end time;
Confirms in the system that the trip has been successfully completed;
Automatically returns the driver to the app’s home screen.
