2018 is over! Adaption looks back on a successful year. A year where we connected over more than 250 users to the Logistics Cloud Suite. We developed great and innovative products that have ensured that we have grown incredibly fast in 2018. 250 users connected to the Logistics Cloud Suite
2018 was the year that we connected over more than 250 users to the products of the Logistics Cloud Suite. We are very proud of this user growth because it means that our customers fully trust our logistics software. More than 250 users experience the advantages of the logistics cloud software daily. Development TMS for shippers and manufacturers
In the past year we had a lot of conversations with shippers. We spoke about the way their processes are arranged. We concluded that ERP-systems are extremely suitable for the internal processes, but often don’t cover all logistics activities. Shippers and manufacturers don’t have a good overview of the incoming and outgoing transports, they have to deal with peak times at the loading and unloading decks and the logistics costs are often very high. To help shippers and manufacturers we added different functionalities to the Transport Management System especially for shippers. The TMS can easily be connected to the ERP-system and features customer & carrier portal, dock planning and automatized booking process. In 2019 we will improve the TMS for shippers more.
HOYER uses big data for container maintenance
In 2018 HOYER has replaced their previous equipment system with the M&R software module from the Logistics Cloud Suite. With this digitization HOYER takes a leading position in the market of liquid transports. By collecting and analysing data HOYER can reduce the maintenance and repair costs, equipment will not stand still for longer and employees work faster and more efficient together. In the meantime, HOYER has over 80.000 estimates in the M&R solution. Read the press release about the commissioning of the software.
New and existing customers
This year we have been able to connect a number of new customers to the Logistics Cloud Suite and we have done new implementations at existing customers. Our client NBK has introduced the Customer Portal to their customers. This makes it possible for the customers to have 24/7 insight into the current stock of their goods.
In 2017 Interchains and Adaption signed the contract for the Control Tower, in 2018 Interchains started using the software. Interchains has a lot of trust in Adaption and is very satisfied about the stability and the functionalities of the Control Tower. At the end of 2018 Interchains and Adaption started a renewed collaboration. In 2019 Interchains will expand their logistics software with the Calculator from the Logistics Cloud Suite.
ICT & Logistics
This year we were attending the fair of the year when it comes to ICT and logistics processes: ICT & Logistics. During the fair we had a lot of interesting and inspiring conversations. This year’s theme was “Connected Logistics”, it turned out quickly that it was an important subject because we got many questions concerning this. “With which parties should I share data and how does data sharing works?” were questions from a shipper at our stand. This year our customers were also very satisfied with our logistics software solutions. From our research of the usability of our software our customers gave our software an 8.7! The customers indicated in this research that the software products have few bugs and it is very easy to use. Next to this we also received few helpdesk calls. This means that our software meets our high and strict quality requirements. We strive for 100% bug free software that is safe and reliable. To realize this we optimise our processes every day. On 20 December it was finally the day: the move! Due to the growth we had the past year it became very full at our old office. Time to search for a bigger office. We found this new office very quickly and it is also very nearby! On 20 December we moved into the office at Stationspark 460 in Sliedrecht, a great wide workspace on the second floor in the same building where our old office is located.
